// Daily Face Routine//

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to share with you my routine for the past few months. All the products are great and last all day (seriously all day. 9am - 11pm). I have combination skin, no acne (maybe one or two pimples every couple months), heavy blackheads on the nose.

Prime and Foundation

Using my hands to apply the hourglass veil primer, and the MAC foundation brush using outward strokes starting from the middle of my face to apply the Chanel Aqua Vitalumiere foundation.

Conceal and prime eyes

I use the Cle de Peau Concealer in Ocher, and Laura Mercier eye basics in Flax. I just use the applicators to apply onto my face and use my ring finger to smooth and blend out.

Eyes

I used to use just the Burberry Sheer Eyeshadow in Mulberry (No. 24) all over the lid and just blend out at the crease, but since I got the Chanel Illusion d’Ombre in Emerveille, I’ve been using that all over the lid instead (using the MAC 239). The the burberry eyeshadow is used as an outer corner/crease colour now, applied and blended in after emerveille using the MAC 222? (the fluffy white one).

Brows and Blush

I use MAC’s Concrete eyeshadow with MAC 263 to fill my brows in as I do have quite sparse and uneven brows. If I want a more relaxed look I skip this step, as it does make me look more serious and more mature. For blush I use Melba by MAC with the angled blush brush. Applying first at the apples of my cheeks and then blending it diagonally upwards.

Eyes again

Now I curl my lashes and then apply my gel liner after I curl. I don’t like my eyelash curler to get dirty and the gel liners really make it nasty. I always wipe the curler with a piece of tissue and change the plastic bit every 3 months or so. I use bobby brown gel liner in  black using the MAC 263. I have a separate one to apply the liner as I don’t wash my brushes every day.

Finish

I apply my setting powder (it’s really a very sheer powder foundation) using my Chanel face brush. I truly love this brush and I highly recommend it to anyone who uses a setting powder such as the one I use. It just puts the exact amount I want without making my face look cakey. I would say 15 minutes after I apply the setting powder, my skin looks flawless. I use the Shu Uemura powder. The label has peeled off and I’m not sure what colour I am, but I am a NC30 at MAC.

Finally, I apply my mascara, I’m currently using Heroine Make, which I purchased in HK.

Arugula Salad with Raspberries, dried cranberries and praline pecans. Topped off with balsamic vinegrette with a little bit of apricot balsmic.
